GlobalWorx Foundation was founded by Joseph Radic, an entrepreneur with more than 30 years of experience buying, building, and operating businesses across multiple industries. After years in private equity and small business ownership — sitting on both sides of deals that closed factories and cost workers their livelihoods — Radic built GlobalWorx Foundation to use those same tools to protect jobs rather than eliminate them. The mission is personal: most of the workers he wants to help remind him of the people who built his early businesses.

GlobalWorx Foundation operates nine programs:
WorxAcquire identifies small and mid-size businesses that are at risk of closure — due to owner retirement, financial distress, or industry pressure — and acquires them as a nonprofit. Rather than liquidating assets or downsizing to maximize profit, we maintain operations and keep employees on the payroll. Our goal is to stabilize the business and, where possible, transition ownership to an employee-owned structure over time.

WorxAcademy focuses on skilled trades with strong employer demand and wages that cannot be easily automated or offshored — including welding, HVAC, electrical, plumbing, CNC machining, and manufacturing technology. Curriculum is developed in partnership with employers to ensure graduates are ready for immediate placement. Training includes hands-on instruction and pathway to industry-recognized certification.
WorxVet is our dedicated program for U.S. military veterans transitioning to civilian careers. We provide assessment of transferable skills, trade skill training and certification funding, employer introductions, and placement support. Veterans bring discipline, technical aptitude, and reliability that the trades desperately need — WorxVet translates that into civilian opportunity.
WorxFund provides micro-loans and financial support to small business owners who cannot access traditional bank financing. Our loans are designed for businesses with 1–25 employees that are viable but undercapitalized. We pair lending with business advising and, where needed, connect owners to our WorxRecover turnaround program. The goal is to keep businesses alive and keep workers employed — not to generate returns for investors.

Yes. GlobalWorx Foundation is a 501(c)(3) tax-exempt nonprofit (EIN: 42-2529053). Contributions are tax-deductible to the full extent allowed by law. You will receive a donation receipt by email immediately after your gift is processed. We recommend saving this for your tax records.
We are committed to directing at least 85 cents of every dollar donated to direct program expenses — not overhead, not executive salaries, not administrative costs. This commitment is published annually. Full financial statements including IRS Form 990 are publicly available and posted on this website as they are filed.
You can donate online via our secure donation page. We accept credit and debit cards (Visa, Mastercard, Amex, Discover) and process payments through Stripe, one of the world's most trusted payment processors. Your card details are never stored by GlobalWorx Foundation.

Monthly donors are the backbone of our operating model — they allow us to plan programs with reliable funding rather than depending on one-time campaigns. We offer several corporate partnership structures including financial sponsorships, employee volunteer programs, graduate hiring pipelines, in-kind equipment and material donations, and skills-based volunteering where professionals donate expertise in legal, accounting, HR, marketing, or operations. Yes. We are particularly seeking professionals who can contribute expertise in areas like legal and compliance, finance and accounting, marketing and communications, HR and workforce development, and trades instruction. GlobalWorx Foundation is working toward an independent financial audit beginning in our second year of full operations (FY2028). We are also working toward Candid's Platinum Seal of Transparency, the highest accountability rating for nonprofits.
