1. Information We Collect from Donors

When you make a donation to GlobalWorx Foundation, we collect:

• Your name and contact information (email, phone, mailing address)
• Donation amount, date, and frequency
• Payment method information (processed and secured by Stripe — we never store full card numbers)
• Any preferences or instructions you provide with your gift
• Employer information (only if you provide it, e.g., for employer matching gift programs)

2. How We Use Donor Information

We use donor information exclusively for:

• Processing and acknowledging your donation
• Issuing tax-deductible receipts and year-end giving statements
• Communicating our impact and how your gift is being used
• Sending program updates and newsletters (only with your consent)
• Maintaining accurate financial and donor records as required by law
• Processing recurring donations if you have set up a recurring giving plan

3. We Do Not Sell Donor Information

GlobalWorx Foundation will never sell, rent, exchange, or otherwise share donor names, contact information, or giving data with any third party for marketing or fundraising purposes. This applies to all donors regardless of gift size.

4. Anonymous Giving

Donors who wish to remain anonymous may request anonymous recognition at the time of their gift. We will honor such requests in all public acknowledgments, while retaining donor information internally for legal, tax, and compliance purposes.

5. Recurring Donations

If you establish a recurring donation, your payment information is stored securely by our payment processor (Stripe) — not by GlobalWorx Foundation directly. You may cancel or modify a recurring donation at any time by contacting us at info@globalworx.com or calling 917-768-4665.

6. Donor Rights

As a donor to GlobalWorx Foundation, you have the right to:

• Know how your gift will be used
• Receive an accurate and timely acknowledgment of your donation
• Be informed of our mission and how we accomplish it
• Request that your name be removed from our communications lists
• Ask questions and receive prompt, honest answers
• Expect that your relationship with us will be treated with respect

7. Opt-Out

You may opt out of receiving communications from GlobalWorx Foundation at any time by:

• Clicking "unsubscribe" at the bottom of any email we send

Opting out of communications does not affect the processing of your donation or the issuance of tax receipts.

8. Security of Donor Information

We use industry-standard security measures, including SSL/TLS encryption and secure payment processing through Stripe, to protect your financial and personal information. Access to donor records is restricted to authorized staff and board members only.

9. Third-Party Payment Processing

All online donations are processed by Stripe, Inc., a leading payment processor. When you donate online, you are also subject to Stripe's privacy policy, available at stripe.com/privacy. We have selected Stripe because of their strong security standards and their nonprofit-friendly fee structure.
