GlobalWorx Foundation is deeply grateful for the generosity of our donors. We are committed to handling every donation with integrity and transparency. This Donation Refund Policy explains our practices regarding refund requests.
Refund requests for donations made through our website must be submitted within 30 days of the original transaction date. We are unable to process refunds for donations made more than 30 days prior, as funds will have been committed to program activities.
For recurring donations, refund requests apply to the most recent charge only. Charges from prior billing periods are generally not eligible for refund unless there was a billing error on our part.

We aim to respond to all refund requests within 3–5 business days of receipt. If your refund is approved, the credit will be applied to your original payment method. Processing times vary by payment provider:
You will receive an email confirmation once your refund has been processed. Please check your spam folder if you do not receive a confirmation.
If you have already claimed a tax deduction for a donation that is subsequently refunded, you may be required to report the refunded amount as income in the tax year it is received. We recommend consulting your tax advisor if you have questions about the tax implications of a refund. We will provide an updated donation receipt reflecting the refund.
You may cancel a recurring donation at any time by contacting us at info@globalworx.com or calling 917-768-4665. Cancellations submitted at least 5 business days before the next scheduled charge will take effect before that charge is processed. We cannot guarantee cancellation of charges already in process at the time of your request.
Cancellation of a recurring donation does not automatically trigger a refund of any previous charges. If you believe a recent charge was made in error, please submit a refund request as described above.
We strongly encourage you to contact us directly before initiating a chargeback or dispute with your bank or credit card company. Chargebacks initiated without first contacting us may result in additional processing fees that ultimately reduce the funds available for our programs. We are committed to resolving any legitimate concern promptly and fairly.
If you do initiate a chargeback, GlobalWorx Foundation reserves the right to provide your transaction records and our correspondence to your payment provider as evidence in the dispute process.
